General Update and Conclusion to Thursday's Havoc

Sun., Mar. 06, 2005 22:15:29
Thursday's issue concluded much better than I expected. After school on Friday, my mom walked into my room with the car key and asked me if I'd put anyting into the center console right before I'd lost the key. I had to admit that, yes, I had placed my iPod in the center console just before exited the vehicle as to hide it from outside view. I couldn't have my iPod stolen in the first week now could I!

My Shiny Toy Guns cd has been placed on the back burner (meaning I've dropped the listening frequency to twice daily), because I've been listening the The Postal Service. I have their album Give Up and both the District Sleeps Alone single and Such Great Heights single. I really like some of the Such Great Heights remixes. In a couple weeks I'll check the iPod playcount and see who's really getting the most playtime.

Since we're on the topic of my iPod, I figure I should mention this amazing new toy Elizabeth got me for it. It's called an iTrip, and is an FM transmitter enabling one to use the iPod through their car stereo, or any other FM receiver. I tested it out with my home stereo and couldn't get far enough away from the antenna without going outside to make the signal quality begin to diminish. It should work very well for transmitting the iPod's signal through my car stereo.
